Welcome to the Children's Montessori School of Port Angeles, WA. We strive to create an environment that promotes independence and respect for others. Manners, love of reading, curiosity and kindness are all emphasized skills our students take with them for the rest of their lives. Our curriculum focuses on reading, practical life skills, sensorial, number sense, language, science, geography and cosmic education.
History of The Children's Montessori School
Our school was founded in 1992 by Sally Garlick and was located in the
First Presbyterian Church. In 1995 we moved to 708 East 8th Street
where we spent the next 15 years! We are currently located within the
First Baptist Church of Port Angeles. There are currently 25 students
under the instruction of 4 teachers.
The CMS is open to children between 3 years of age and kindergarten.
Students may attend school three, four or five days a week. Enrichment Programs: -Lunch and Games for 4-5 year olds, Monday
-Art class for 4-5 year olds, Thursday
-Kindergarten Science, Wednesday
